I was visiting the blog of Nancy Larson at activerain.com. She reminded me of a very important tip to share. Nancy noted that when she visits a real estate office the picture of the person on the card often looks nothing like the person sitting in front of her. Have you looked at your photo business card lately? Is it time for an update? Sometimes it is difficult to be self critical so ask someone you trust to tell you if it is time to re-do. I recently made some brochures for my wife’s piano teaching seminars. I included a photo I took last summer in Colorado and another taken at Lake Powell Arizona. She tells me several people commented how much they liked the photos because they were relaxed and spontaneous. It does not necessarily have to be a professional photo, just a good reproduceable photo that shows you as you are.
