Year End Update

The nice thing about a blog is that you can easily glance back and get an idea of what happened over time.  As I look back at this blog for 2010 it reminds me of what an interesting year it was. I kicked off 2010 with a challenge to myself to meet 100 new people in 50 days. Not exactly as easy as it sounds but what a great way to meet a lot of new and interesting folks. Thanks to those who participated and I look forward to continuing our relationship.

I also invited a number of business professionals to submit guest blogging articles and I will continue that initiative in 2011. Topics should be specific business card related articles or anything of interest to entrepreneurs with an emphasis on networking and business building .

For those of you who do not know me well, this blog is an extension of my core business Reno Lovison Marketing. We provide marketing services with an emphasis on video for the web and a specialty of book video trailers produced to help authors and publishers promote their books. In 2010 I am happy to report that we recieved peer recognition for a web video produced for U.S. Bank  in the form of a small cash prize.  We have also expanded our multi-media services to include the recording and production of audio books.

In spite of the struggling economy 2010 revealed there is light at the end of the tunnel.  I am confident that this trend will continue in the new year. Thanks to all of you who with whom I have had the priviledge to work and collaborate with this past year. Let’s keep it going. Let me know how I can help you in 2011. Best wishes everyone.

  1. Hi Reno,
Congratulations on the peer recognition your received on your U.S.Bank video/commercial. It’s creative and interesting – no wonder you won. I agree digital marketing opportunities will continue to increase in 2011. The new year looks exciting.

  2. Hello Reno,
I was pleased to learn about your Business Card To Business Blog on Linkedin. It’s a great business communcations and networking site! Congratulations!
Wishing You All the Very Best in 2011!

  3. I certainly agree that collaboration and creativity will bring light and luck to 2011. It’s about working together for all to be successful….that is the whole point to business. Great ideas Reno:)

  4. Meeting 100 people in 50 days is ambitious and I’m impressed you did it. I set some networking goals for myself in 2011 (nothing that ambitious) both for my professional life and my blog, which are not connected. I appreciated seeing the comment thread on LinkedIn and will be looking for more information on how that resource has helped you.
