Photo Business Card

Hfamily photo business cardere is an interesting twist on the photo business I picked up at a Chicago area chamber of commerce meeting last night. Ronald Reichlin provides family protection in the form of insurance. To illustrate the importance of family Ron used a retro picture of himself and his grandparents. The little boy in front is Ronald. I think this is a great idea because he is sharing something personal about himself that makes the recipient feel more connected and it is a great conversation starter that has the potential to reinforce the idea of family protection. Bravo to Ron and to his son who designed the card. This business card design is a multigenerational family effort.

  1. I like this idea of a picture on a business card – and not just the picture of a person, but one that connects with customers. In Ronald’s business of selling family protection insurance it’s important to connect with people on the family level and he is certainly doing that. What other types of connections can people make through photos on their business cards? I bet there are some great ideas out there!

  2. I’ve tended not to particularly like “head shots” on business cards, although in some industries I recognize their value. This, I think, is a great variation that is both relevant and interesting. Well done!

  3. as a photographer, having your work on a business card is a great way to show people your work. of course the printing and paper has to be high grade, so i print most of my cards at MOO and they have some great stuff at awesome prices too.
